Chairman of the Leicestershire Rural Partnership

Mrs Lesley Pendleton
Mrs Lesley Pendleton is Chairman of the Leicestershire Rural Partnership and is also a member of the East Midlands Rural Affairs Forum. She is Leicestershire County Councillor for Kegworth, Lockington, Hemmington & Castle Donnington and sits on the Cabinet as Lead Member for Rural Issues, a position which she has held since May 2003.
Mrs Pendleton also represents the LRP on the Board of Leicestershire Together, the County’s Local Strategic Partnership, as well as sitting on the Board of Trustees for the Rural Community Council (Leicestershire and Rutland).
In addition to political positions she has also held the post of clerk to Kegworth Parish Council since 1980.
In her personal life Mrs Pendleton was married in 1967 and has 3 children.
